Locking Instructions:

1. Workspace Surface Installation

Identify the most convenient location for mounting. Ensure that plenty of space is left both behind and in front of the mount for easy access and removal. For tabletop or side mounts, any of the eight optional holes on the base of the mount can be used as a guide. Use the screws provided to attach the mount. If mounting to the underside of a work surface, make sure to keep the Mac Mini Mount right side up. Guide the screws through the leader holes in the base and then through the matching holes on the top face of the mount.

Slide the Mac Mini into the mount opening and insert the lock bar into the vertical slot on the left side of the bracket. Swing the bar over to the right side and line up the hole pattern.

A. Case Lock Option: To secure the mount with the provided case lock, line up the hole pattern on the side of the lock bar and screw the case lock through until tight. The provided key must be used to tighten the lock. When removing the case lock, insert the key and turn counterclockwise until the case lock disconnects from the threaded hole.
B. Padlock Option: To secure the mount with a padlock, insert the padlock through the large hole on the face of the locking bracket and also through the round side hole. Follow the instructions provided with your particular padlock to close.

2. Mac Mini and Security Cable Installation

Slide the Mac Mini into the mount opening and insert the lock bar into the vertical slot on the left side of the bracket. Swing the bar over to the right side and line up the hole pattern. Insert the security cable slot lock into the rectangular hole on the side of the mount. To lock, follow the instructions provided with your chosen cable.

3. Mac Mini Monitor Installation

Locate the four VESA holes on the back of the monitor and remove screws if needed. Line up the holes on the Security Mount with the VESA holes. Use the appropriate screws provided to fasten the mount to the monitor back. Place the Mac Mini into the mount opening and slide the lock bar into place. Secure the Mac Mini Mount with either the case lock or a padlock according to instructions listed above.

Keyed Alike:
All locks within a set are keyed the same, allowing any key to open all locks. Perfect for an environment such as a school or lab, or for any situation where the end user is not authorized to unlock equipment. The key is typically managed by an admin
Keyed Differently:
An excellent option for individual end users and situations that don't require administration or a key recovery system. One unique set of two keys is assigned to each lock.
Master Keyed:
Ideal when both centralized management and end user flexibility are required. Each lock is keyed differently from the other locks and comes with its own unique set of two keys. However, a Master Key capable of opening any of the locks is provided.
